The Opportunity
Nutanix is elevating its global Emerging Talent strategy, and this role is a remarkable opportunity to lead our growth in EMEA, based in our Belgrade, Serbia office. As a Sr. Emerging Talent Specialist, you will be the face of Nutanix for our business leaders, university students and early-career talent in the region. You will not only attract and hire the next generation of builders but also create the programs and experiences that help them thrive.
 
You will report directly to the Director of Global Emerging Talent and partner closely with leaders across R&D, Sales, and Support, as well as our global People Team, to establish Nutanix as a top employer for emerging talent in EMEA.
 
The Team
You will be a part of an evolving Global Emerging Talent function responsible for creating world-class university engagement strategies, internship experiences, early-career hiring pipelines, and career-building initiatives across Nutanix.
 
Serbia is a critical R&D hub for Nutanix. In this role, you will be the primary driver of our early-talent success in both the country, and the greater region, helping to build a culture of mentorship, innovation, and long-term engagement.
 
What You Will Do
  • Drive Full-Cycle Recruiting: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for interns and new graduates across Serbia and EMEA, ensuring a high-touch, inclusive candidate experience from application to offer.
  • Build University Partnerships: Develop and grow strategic relationships with top universities, student organizations, and research partners in the region to build strong talent pipelines.
  • Lead Campus Engagement: Plan and execute annual campus engagement strategies, including career fairs, tech talks, hackathons, and brand activations that elevate Nutanix’s visibility.
  • Champion the Intern Experience: Partner with the global team to deliver an exceptional internship program in the region, including orientation, professional development workshops, social events, and performance tracking.
  • Advisor to the Business: Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to define hiring needs, role requirements, and assessment criteria for early-career talent.
  • Data & Operations: Own reporting and insights for the region, tracking pipeline health, diversity metrics, and program success to drive continuous improvement.
What You Will Bring
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in university recruiting, talent acquisition, or program management, ideally within the technology sector.
  • Regional Expertise: Strong understanding of the university landscape and academic cycles in the EMEA region (knowledge of Belgrade and Barcelona markets is a plus).
  • Program Management: Proven ability to plan and execute complex programs or events with multiple stakeholders and moving parts.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and Serbian; ability to represent Nutanix authentically to students, faculty, and executives.
  • Adaptability: A self-starter mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and build new processes in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Passion: A genuine enthusiasm for working with students and helping them launch their careers.
